Lodestar Whiskey, an all-female-founded whiskey startup based in Los Angeles, has introduced its first expression, now available in selected retail outlets across California and online throughout the US. Launched in 2023, the brand was co-founded by cousins and industry veterans Anna Axster and Wendelin von Schroder, with support from Diageo’s Distill Ventures Pre-Accelerator Program.
Lodestar’s landmark release is a blend of Straight High Rye Bourbon and American Single Malt Whiskey, presented in 750ml packaging at 90 proof (45% abv), featuring notes of caramel, citrus, and warm baking spices.
